A quasi united world government will appear. Like iron mixes with clay they will not remain united. 10 kings will arise from the world government. An 11th king will arise and subdue 3 kings. The March 17, 1948 Brussels Treaty was the forerunner of the WEU. On October 23, 1954 the Western European Union was established. The Western European Union has 10 member countries, 6 associate member countries, 5 observer countries and 7 associate partner countries. For the first time in nearly 2000 years, Europe has it's own currency, the Euro, established by the provisions in the 1992 Maastricht Treaty on European Union. The EU is also building it's own military. The WEU has only 10 member countries. The rest of the 25 or so countries have only associate or observer membership status. It will be 3 of those original 10 that the little horn (antichrist) will subdue. As of October 2005, Turkey is the final piece of the EU puzzle. It was the only remaining nation from the Old Roman Empire which was not yet a part of the Revived Roman Empire, the European Union. With Turkey now being added, the current EU includes all nations of the ancient Roman Empire.

Russia has been busy supplying weapons to many countries in the middle east and nuclear technology to Iran (Persia). The City of Damascus is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities on earth. The bible prophesies it's destruction, a ruinous heap. Damascus is still there so the prophecy is yet future. Damascus is located in Syria and is a haven of terrorists. It is reported that Damascus has chemical weapons. Antichrist
This is the first seal of the book of Revelation. The white horse. The bible has a lot to say about this man and describes him very clearly. Antichrist means "instead of Christ" or "against Christ". He comes in Christ's stead. He is the "little horn" or the 11th king of the revived Roman Empire world government. The Beast and the Antichrist are spoken of together in many places. The Beast is the world government and the Antichrist a person. The Antichrist will confirm a covenant with many for one week of years, but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. His number is 666. The Antichrist cannot be revealed until God removes the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit.

Nehpilim are a hybrid of half fallen angel and half human. Concerning the Revived Roman Empire Daniel 2:42,43 says, "And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay."
Who are THEY that will mingle themselves with the seed of men??? We know that Nephilim were around in Noah's day and Jesus said the end would be like the days of Noah. Genetic engineering is seducing mankind with the allure of all sorts of cures and "artificial evolution". The Jewish temple will be rebuilt.
A third Jewish temple will be rebuilt on the temple mount. The second Jewish temple was destroyed in 70 AD as prophesied by both Daniel and Christ. Daniel 9:26 Matthew 24:1,2. Some sources say the temple will be rebuilt where the Dome of the Rock currently stands and the temple cannot be rebuilt until the Dome of the Rock is removed. Other sources say the second temple was lined up with the eastern gate which is located north-east of the Dome of the Rock. Measurements have been made and it has been determined that there is enough room to rebuild the Jewish temple north of the Dome of the Rock, but not enough room for the outer court. This is an intriguing fact in light of Revelation 11:1,2

Abomination of Desolation
In the middle of seven year tribulation (Daniel's 70th week) the Antichrist will go into the rebuilt Jewish temple and put a stop to sacrifice and offerings and demand to be worshipped as God. This will be an abomination to Israel. Jesus issued some very serious warnings about this event:
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. -Matthew 24:15-21
Jesus wants you to understand the book of Daniel! If you are in Judaea (the West Bank) and you have just witnessed the Abomination of Desolation, FLEE NOW! If not, read on. Many believe that Israel will seek refuge in Jordan at a place called Petra.
The bible redundantly declares this event to be a very significant date in history to which you can countdown the return of Christ from. Jesus will return 3.5 years after the Abomination of Desolation. Or 42 months or 1260 days. God uses 30 day months. (Something happened to the earth's orbit around 701 B.C. that caused everyone to adjust their calendars to the 364 day calendar we now use today.) It seems God went out of his way to make it very clear that we understand exactly when Christ will return. He measures it out for us in no uncertain terms using years, months and days. In pirate's terms, He is telling us that the treasure is buried exactly 10 paces north of a certain tree. But He hasn't told us which tree it is yet. If the Abomination of Desolation has already occurred, then you know which tree! Find out the exact day it occurred, then count exactly 1260 days and mark that on your calendar. Don't mark off 42 months or 3.5 years from your Gregorian calendar. If you do, you will come up with 1274 or 1275 days if there is a leap year in there. See ya soon!

Jesus told us exactly when the end would come. Actually, two places in the bible tell us when the end will occur.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. -Matthew 24:14

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. -Matthew 28:18-20
Believers redeemed by the blood of Christ will come out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation before the end of the world.
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; -Revelation 5:9
This is a testimony to the mercy and love of God. He loves us so much that he delays judgement until every person on earth has heard the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. -2 Peter 3:9
Maybe the Church wont quite finish the Great Commission before the Rapture. An angel will help finish the job during the great tribulation:
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. -Revelation 14:6,7
