Can You Imagine a World?

Can you imagine a world where litter on the side of the road is a rarity?

Can you imagine a world where all famous actors and musicians are good role models for our children?

A world where people can debate and seek truth while putting self aside, rather than descending into personal insults and racial slurs?

Where fast food restaurants don’t need to hide napkins, ketchup packets and the key to the restroom behind the counter?

Where abusive drug use is practically unheard of?

Where people are interested in serving other people the best they can with their talents and skills?

Where you can mistakenly leave a valuable possession on the sidewalk, come back the next day and it’s still there?

Where a policeman cannot ticket you if he is also guilty of doing the same thing?

Where judges are held responsible for the actions of convicted criminals that they release from prison early?

Where science and technology excel, unhindered by false theories and propaganda?

Where proper stewardship of the planet and ecology is taught rather than politicians using false science as a guise to get support for tyrannical legislation that people would otherwise reject?

Can you imagine a world where politicians sought to serve others rather than empower themselves?

Where citizens were educated and principled about right and wrong and did not tolerate corrupt politicians?

Where money is gold and no one can make money out of thin air, loan it at interest, inflate the currency supply and then seize the property of the unfortunate players in the game of “Musical Chairs” since the interest to pay back their loan was never created?

Can you imagine a world of abundance rather than scarcity?

A world with no unemployment?

A world without war because justice and righteousness flow like a river?

Where you are not numbered, tracked and monitored by control hungry government?

Where the government serves and protects our rights, rather than seeking more power and trying to protect itself from us?

Where you can travel on a plane without being searched?

Where you are innocent until proven guilty?

Can you imagine calves and lions lying down together and children leading them?

Then you can imagine a world where Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords!

Revelation 20:1-6

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Isaiah 2:1-5

1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

Isaiah 11:1-9

1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 9:6,7

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Daniel 2:44

44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Jeremiah 3:17

17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

Zechariah 14:9

9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
